I figure I've driven about 300,000 miles in it and can't say I've enjoyed every mile due to the love/hate relationship I have with the car. It started it's term with me as a "Champagne" colored car with blue leather seats. I bought it in 1996 off a used car lot in McKinney,Texas for $5000.00. Overpriced, yet it was exteremely clean. It looked like it had never had anything in the trunk. It was that clean. So, I paid the price. I had been looking for 2 or 3 years for a MkI, but all were extemely used. I just kinda got lucky when I found this one. Good times! |
